Betula alba pendula, also known as the Common Silver Birch or The æLady of the WoodsÆ is a graceful slender tree which carries all year round interest. The variable, silver peeling bark develops with age and slightly pendulous branches. Diamond shaped green leaves turn buttery yellow in the autumn. Yellowish brown catkins develop over winter and look stunning in the spring. Makes an excellent windbreak and specimen, native tree.
DELIVERY INFORMATION:
The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions. Bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
This item will be delivered on a wooden pallet. The pallet will be delivered using a heavy goods vehicle and will need plenty of room to deliver as well as needing someone to sign for the delivery.
As the deliveries are kerbside, this means that the driver will take the pallet off the lorry and will only be able to move the pallet to a close and easily accessible place from the road. The driver will not be able to wheel the delivery across any uneven surface such as grass, gravel or up or down steps and will not unload the items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them.
If there are any issues with the access to your property, please contact us before your order is dispatched so that we can discuss possible alternative arrangements – failure to do so may result in a failed delivery and a re-delivery charge may be applicable.
Please note that some areas including Central London, Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland may be subject to an additional delivery surcharge.
