Cortaderia ‘Pumila’ is a perennial and evergreen grass renowned for its distinctive characteristics. This ornamental grass assumes a compact form, with its slender, arching dark green leaves extending up to 45cm in length. During the late summer, it graces its surroundings with an abundance of silky creamy-white plumes. These elegant plumes, which reach heights of 1.2 meters, serve as eye-catching ornamental features and are also suitable for cutting and drying for use in flower arrangements. Alternatively, they can be left in the garden, where they acquire an enchanting frosty appearance in the winter months.
The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions. Bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
