Corylus maxima ‘Purpurea’ (known often as the ‘Filbert Tree) is a purple variety that looks brilliant in contrast to surrounding green foliage of other plants. The dark foliage can appear quite ‘moody’, but the rich colour is sure to draw attention. Often grown as either a shrub with regular cutting to keep its size or if left can form a small tree.
The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions, and bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
Delivery Note: Please note that unfortunately we are currently unable to deliver plants to Northern Ireland.
