Euonymus Alatus ‘Compactus’ is a compact shrub with a slightly spreading habit. The ovate leaves are deciduous, and take on a fantastic shade of red throughout the autumn months. This is followed by a orange-red berries that are great for wildlife. It can form quite a dense shrub, that also puts on a show of small green flowers during the spring, although this is mostly grown for its foliage interest.
