Lonicera Japonica ‘Halls Prolific’ is a Japanese honeysuckle variety that blooms abundantly, offering fragrant white flowers in the summertime, which persist until September. As they age, the flowers acquire a yellow hue and give way to black berries. The scent is most prominent during the evening and night, making it ideal to plant near an open window on warm nights to attract moths that will take nectar. This plant has a profusion of foliage that can create a tangled appearance, with flowers occurring incidentally. Hence, it is not recommended for a specimen location. If left untrimmed, it can reach up to 10m (33ft) in height and spread, but pruning may be necessary.
The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions, and bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
Delivery Note: Please note that unfortunately we are currently unable to deliver plants to Northern Ireland.
