Prunus ‘Novita’ (sometimes known as the common laurel) is a rather vigorous shrub that is brilliantly versatile. It is often seen as a specimen plant as well as a hedging or screening plant, and can be trained against frames. It can reach heights of around 5 meters in just 5-10 years and produces a wonderfull glossy green foliage perfect for creating a dense bush.
During the spring it does flower with upright spikes of white bloom, although this is primarily grown as a utility rather than for its flowers.
The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions, and bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
Delivery Note: Please note that unfortunately we are currently unable to deliver plants to Northern Ireland.
